The Law of E=MC2

Electricity is coursing through your brain right now!

“It’s elementary my dear Watson.” -Sherlock Holmes

For years I struggled with the Law of Attraction. Its ideas and concepts just seemed to fly right over my head. What do you mean if I want something I only have to see and feel it? Where does the idea that what I think is going to matter in my life? I could never grasp it, I struggled trying to figure out just what they meant and eventually kind of gave up. I moved on with my life keeping those ideas in my head, trying to remember to be positive and not let things get me down. I knew there was more, but that more part is the part I didn’t get. What was I missing?

Well time went on and I went on. I have a passion for learning and at that time my interest peaked into the galaxy and all the wonders it held. I started watching documentaries, reading articles, and just practically obsessing with anything stars, particles, space-time, multi-universe, and warped dimensions. It all just grasped me and took me down a path of discovery that changed my life and perspectives; I felt so small! This tiny, insignificant, human being on this rock hurling itself, thousands of miles an hour through an infinite cosmos made up of matter and energy, and probably a lot of other things we don’t understand yet... It was honestly kind of depressing.

Then this one documentary came along, its focus was on the equation E=MC2 and explaining what that actually meant. That’s where it changed, that’s when those gears clicked into place all because of one line. One scientifically proven fact I’ve been looking over my entire life without making a connection. Energy = Mass.

So what, right? What does that mean? Well this is where it gets good. But let’s define things first just so we are clear on what we’re talking about. Mass is defined as a coherent large body of matter with no definite shape, which means it could be anything. Everything is made up of matter: water, air, me, you, your dog and your Grandma Betty. We are all one ball of matter put together in a particular way.

Energy is defined as power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources. This includes, light, heat, and electrical properties. In short, both are one in the same. They can go back and forth between each other at the speed of light (which is ridiculously fast).

Energy must go somewhere. It’s moving at the speed of light and can’t be stopped.

Ok, again, so what? Well, BIG so what. Your thoughts are energy, which is mass, which is physical tangible matter with weight. Fact time. You can weigh energy. If you take a spring and weigh it, and then you were to stretch that spring out and weight it again, the spring would weigh more stretched out because the energy that was put into it. That same energy you used to stretch it out gave it more mass. This means, your thoughts can, and DO transpire into a physical form. You might be rolling your eyes at me, ‘well I can’t see my thoughts’. No, you also can’t see the air and we are all very well aware of its presence. (Sometimes the lack thereof for those of us with asthma.)

So let’s think of e=mc2’s process and how it works within us and out of us. You have an apple, a physical object you hold, feel, and consume. When you eat that apple, your body takes it and breaks it down into its chemical components which then is used by your body for fuel or a.k.a energy. That energy is used in the brain to create electrical impulses. Key word there folks, electrical. Yes, it’s actual electricity sparking around in your head at this very moment. The human brain can seriously power a light bulb generating about 10-23 watts while you’re awake. Amazing right?

Now that we defined our terms and have a basic understanding of what we are looking at if you think about it, the results are simple yet astonishing. Our thoughts are energy, energy is matter, and that matter is physical. Yes. Thoughts are physical. *POW!* Mind blowing.

Didn’t click? That’s ok, this is one of those concepts that you might need to think on for more than just an article. Putting these pieces together in your own fashion is what turns the key. Understanding that your thoughts have weight, that the term ‘he’s got heavy thoughts’ isn’t a joke or just a phrase, can make a serious impact on how you see your relationship with your reality. It’s easy to understand how our bodies take something physical like that apple and make it into energy that we use. But reverse it, and that energy can also be made back into something physical we can again hold. (This time hopefully a new car, right?)

Once you grasp this concept and figure out that the creation of matter to energy, and energy to matter is just a common way in which the universe works, you’ve unlocked a huge door of potential towards understanding how to make things happen for you by thoughts alone. It’s more than just think positive and good things will happen. They are making them happen for you right now by focusing that energy into the form of matter you want it to be. (Ooo! That car!)

Unfortunately, we don’t see the results manifest necessarily at the speed of light (most of the time). Things have to align, move into place, and that’s the part that takes time. The bigger the amount of mass you are working to conjure into a physical form, the longer it might take. This isn’t always the case as sometimes the universe has it ready and is waiting on us to open ourselves to these thoughts in order to accept and receive it. With focusing your thoughts (and the feeling behind those thoughts) on what you want, you are focusing that energy to manifest as……. Mass. Mass is matter, all you’re doing is reforming that energy into another state of itself, the physical state of solid matter.

Once you have an Image in your mind, an energetic snapshot, you can use it to guide the energy into manifesting a result matching that vibration. The energy behind your Image gets translated and transformed into physical matter of the result you wanted. Therefore, if you can imagine it, you can have it!

So, what are you thinking now?
